A canapé reception is the first taste your guests get of the day — at a wedding, a corporate launch or a drinks reception, they set the tone. Get them right and the rest of the event flows.

We make ours from scratch, using Cornish seafood, seasonal vegetables and proper ingredients. Hot canapés go out hot, cold canapés go out cold, and our cook team passes them so guests aren't queuing at a table. We work with your venue, your timings and your guest list.

The most common questions about our canapé catering.

For a drinks reception lasting around an hour, we typically suggest 4–6 canapés per guest. For a longer reception or a canapé-only event, we recommend 8–10 per guest. We'll guide you on numbers when you tell us about your event.
Our canapé service is built for weddings, corporate drinks receptions and private parties — typically a minimum of 30 guests. For smaller numbers, our seafood and grazing platters may be a better fit.
Yes. We offer a mix of hot and cold canapés — chilled options like Cornish crab blinis and smoked salmon are passed straight from the platter, while hot canapés such as mini fish and chips, pulled pork sliders and arancini are finished on-site so they reach guests warm.
Always. Every canapé menu we put together includes vegetarian options, and we offer vegan and gluten-free canapés on request. Tell us about your guests' dietary needs at the quote stage and we'll build the menu around them.
For weddings and large corporate events we recommend booking 2–6 months ahead, particularly for peak summer dates. For smaller drinks receptions, 4–6 weeks is usually fine. Call 01209 206255 to check availability for your date.
