Cold finger buffets start from £6.75 per head. Fork buffets from £11.90 per head. Hot buffets from £15.30 to £26.55 per head for the Grand Banquet package. Charcoal BBQ catering starts from £7.50 per head delivered, or £9.00 per head cooked on-site, up to £38.50 per head delivered or £40.00 per head on-site for the Ultimate Cornish Land & Sea Feast. Hog roast packages from £8.50 per head delivered, or £10.00 per head on-site (minimum 50 guests on-site, minimum 20 delivered). Giant pan catering from £10.95 per head for the Essential menu up to £15.95 for the Signature menu (minimum 50 guests). Buffets require a minimum of 20 guests and are delivered ready to serve. Corporate catering has no minimum. BBQ, hog roast and giant pan catering includes on-site cooking and service.

Hot breakfasts, multi-course lunches and dinners, all-day craft services, and afternoon Cornish cream teas. We work to production schedules — early calls, night shoots, last-minute changes — and cover all dietary requirements. Quote-based.

No. We're fully self-contained — gas, charcoal, all equipment, serving supplies and waste management. No venue kitchen, power or water needed. Beaches, fields, farms, marquees, clifftops — anywhere.

Weddings, birthday parties, corporate lunches, funerals, christenings, engagement parties, anniversaries, festivals, film and TV productions, charity events, school events, Christmas parties and private dinners. From 20 guests to 500.

Weddings and large events: 2–3 months. Smaller events and corporate catering: 1–2 weeks. Same-week bookings welcome when availability allows.

Salt Wind Catering requires a 30% deposit to secure your event date. Once your deposit is received, your date is confirmed and reserved exclusively for you. Cornish Catering, Rooted in Redruth

Salt Wind Catering operates from 37 Fore Street, Redruth — right in the heart of Cornwall's mining country. Our meat comes from RJ Trevarthen in Penryn, our bread from Prima Bakeries in Scorrier, and our dairy from local Cornish suppliers.

We've catered for the NHS, National Grid, WWF, Cornwall Council and Savills — bringing the same care and quality to private celebrations. We're fully self-contained — no venue kitchen needed.
