How far in advance should I book?

Weddings and large events: 2–3 months. Smaller events and corporate catering: 1–2 weeks. Same-week bookings welcome when availability allows.

Based in Redruth, Cornwall, the delivery and on-site catering service reaches every town in the county — from Penzance and St Ives on the west coast to Plymouth and Exeter in Devon. Whether your event is on a clifftop, a beach, a farm, or a city-centre venue, the fully self-contained setup means no venue kitchen or power supply is needed.

How do I secure a date with Salt Wind Catering?

Salt Wind Catering requires a 30% deposit to secure your event date. Once your deposit is received, your date is confirmed and reserved exclusively for you. Cold finger buffets start from £7 per head. Fork buffets from £12 per head. Hot buffets from £15 to £27 per head for the Grand Banquet package. Charcoal BBQ catering starts from £8 per head delivered, or £9 per head cooked on-site, up to £39 per head delivered or £40 per head on-site for the Ultimate Cornish Land & Sea Feast. Hog roast packages from £9 per head delivered, or £10 per head on-site (minimum 50 guests on-site, minimum 20 delivered). Giant pan catering from £11 per head for the Essential menu up to £16 for the Signature menu (minimum 50 guests). Buffets require a minimum of 20 guests and are delivered ready to serve. Corporate catering has no minimum. BBQ, hog roast and giant pan catering includes on-site cooking and service.

Hot breakfasts, multi-course lunches and dinners, all-day craft services, and afternoon Cornish cream teas. We work to production schedules — early calls, night shoots, last-minute changes — and cover all dietary requirements. Quote-based.
