A one-day commercial for the Utility Warehouse brand campaign, shot in Cornwall with a unit base at Falmouth Rugby Club and a late-afternoon move to Fistral Beach. Thirty-nine heads, crew, choir, surfers and lifeguards, on a schedule the production moved forward twice in the final week. Salt Wind Catering hot-boxed the whole day from the Redruth kitchen: breakfast on the tables before the 09:00 hot-box call, then lunch and the afternoon tea together on one 13:00 drop as the production manager asked, with nothing for the unit to set up. Two nut allergies and a no-cheese requirement were catered on the line, and the kit was collected from the club while the unit loaded out for the beach.

A two-day television commercial for the Post Office, made by Nice Shirt Films and shot on a working high street in Somerset. Eighty crew on the first day and seventy-seven on the second, fed from a unit base a minute or two off set. Salt Wind Catering travelled up from Cornwall fully self-contained and stayed over both nights, with the kitchen coming and going with the team rather than sitting on the pitch. Hot breakfast ran from the 06:00 call, self-serve, baps always out, so anyone tight for time could take one and go, then a mid-morning craft table, hot lunch served at the unit base, an afternoon break, and hot and cold drinks standing from pre-call through to wrap. Six separate dietary requirements were catered on the line, among them a coeliac-style intolerance list and a non-airborne nut, fish, sesame and kiwi allergy.

A one-day television commercial for Charlie Bigham’s, produced by Academy Films, shot in Cadgwith Cove on the Lizard. Fifty crew, and nowhere to park a unit at the cove: the crew left their cars at the top of the hill and walked down. Salt Wind Catering pitched a self-contained mobile kitchen on the recreation ground at Ruan Minor, about 800 metres above the cove, cooking before sunrise, and drove every service down the lane to the cove in our van, hot-boxed, so the crew never left the location to eat. The production first asked for a food truck; what the job needed was a kitchen that could work where a truck could not.

Two-day location shoot high in the Welsh mountains for FatFace, 23 crew plus the models, fed at two remote sites in Carmarthenshire and Bannau Brycheiniog, the second of them only reachable by 4x4. No venue, no mains power, no water and no hookup at either. Salt Wind Catering travelled up from Cornwall fully self-contained and worked to the call sheet to the minute: on location for a 07:00 catering pre-call, a full hour before the 08:00 unit call, both days. Rolling hot breakfast at 08:30 as the crew came off the transit run, a hot lunch served on location in the one-hour window at 13:15, craft table restocked at both breaks, and tea and filtered coffee running from pre-call to an 18:00 wrap.

Crew catering delivered for a Red Bull athlete shoot on location at Wheal Jane Earth Science Park, Baldhu, near Truro, over two days in July 2026. Salt Wind Catering delivered a fresh summer sharing buffet, seasonal salads, continental cold meats and cheeses with French stick, crudités with house-made dips, quiche and cakes and fruit, set out ready to eat by midday for the production team and talent each shoot day, with dietary requirements managed end-to-end.

'Heart Waves / Herzwellen', a German-language television film in the long-running Rosamunde Pilcher series, produced by FFP New Media for ZDF and filmed on location across Cornwall over 21 shoot days in June and July 2026. A Salt Wind Catering team was on set throughout, moving with the unit between locations all over the county, hot breakfasts, lunch and all-day craft services for the daily crew and cast, with dietary requirements managed end-to-end.

Crew catering delivered for a Microsoft shoot on location at Porthcothan, Cornwall, over late May and early June 2026. Four days were booked, Sunday to Wednesday, and a fifth was added at two days' notice when filming ran behind. Six people, fed platter-style rather than in individual boxes because the group wanted choice: a communal salad, a sandwich platter and something sweet each day, delivered from the Redruth kitchen in thermal boxes so lunch was ready whenever the unit broke. Every platter carried a vegetarian option, and the whole run was cooked garlic-free at the crew's request because they were shooting close.

'Merren Cove', a German-language television film in the long-running Rosamunde Pilcher series, produced by FFP New Media for ZDF and filmed on location across Cornwall over 21 shoot days in April and May 2026. A Salt Wind Catering team was on set throughout, providing mobile on-location unit catering as the production moved between locations across the county, breakfast, lunch and all-day craft services for the daily crew and cast, with dietary lists managed end-to-end.

Crew catering delivered for a Finisterre photo shoot on location at Mullion, on the Lizard Peninsula, in May 2026. The brief arrived on the Saturday for the Tuesday, three days originally, then two once the middle day came off the schedule. Sixteen lunch boxes on the first day and eighteen on the second, delivered to the shoot location for 11am each time, every box individually labelled with a full allergen list. Six vegetarians, a vegan (two on the second day), a gluten-free vegetarian and one nut allergy were catered on the line, and the packaging was paper throughout.

'Oddly Flowers', a Canada–UK co-production feature starring Emily Carey, Martin Freeman and Sam Spruell, written and directed by Jordan Canning, adapted from Jessica Grant's novel 'Come, Thou Tortoise'. Salt Wind Catering fed the unit for the Cornwall block that closed the shoot, days 27 and 28 of 28, on 30 and 31 March 2026. Thirty crew and cast across both days, working between a clifftop cottage at Cape Cornwall, Mousehole harbour and Penzance. Every meal went out individually portioned and boxed: the unit moved between locations mid-service on the Monday, and on the Tuesday the London crew went from the last set-up straight onto the Paddington train, so lunch had to travel with them. Twenty meat, eight vegetarian, one vegan and one gluten-free, managed end to end.

Crew catering delivered over two days for an Omaze UK social shoot at Downderry, near Torpoint, in March 2026, the second Omaze engagement after an earlier 2024 shoot. Sixteen on the first day and fifteen on the second, breakfast and a hot-boxed lunch both days, cooked at Redruth and delivered hot to the location. Nine separate dietary requirements ran across the crew list, among them a coeliac, gluten-free and dairy-free with no red meat, two vegetarians, low carb, no goat's cheese and no brassica or lentils.

Crew catering delivered for a Morrisons promotional shoot filming on location in Cornwall across two days in April 2025, at a produce farm near Hayle and on the harbour at Newlyn. Two teams shooting on their own schedules, so the day was built around three separate drops: breakfast to the photography team for a 5:45am start, then lunch to each team at its own location. Everything travelled hot from the Redruth kitchen in insulated boxes, with a gluten-free coeliac and a pescatarian catered on the line.
