Catering for Holiday Home Groups in Cornwall — Delivered to Your Cottage
Catering for Holiday Home Groups in Cornwall — Delivered to Your Cottage
Holiday home catering in Cornwall means we come to your rental, cook and serve a fresh meal for your group, then leave the kitchen clean. No restaurant booking, no supermarket run, no one stuck in the kitchen while everyone else is on the terrace. We deliver BBQs, hog roasts, buffets, and grazing tables to cottages and farmhouses across the county — set up and ready to eat when you want it.
What catering options are available for holiday homes in Cornwall?
A delivered and set-up feast. We arrive at the cottage before the group, or at the time you specify, and set up a spread in the kitchen, dining room, or garden. Everything is ready to eat when you want it. We stay to serve and clear, or we leave everything in place and collect the equipment the following morning — whichever suits the group.
A BBQ. We bring the equipment, the coal, the food, and the person to cook it. You sit in the garden and have another drink. We light the BBQ when you want it lit and cook when you want to eat. This is our most popular holiday home service, particularly in summer.
A hog roast. For larger groups (25 guests upwards), a hog roast at a holiday home is a serious event. We bring a Cornish pig, the roasting equipment, all the accompaniments, and we manage the whole day. You provide the garden and the guests.
A grazing table. A long table of Cornish cheeses, charcuterie, smoked fish, dips, breads, and seasonal produce. No cooking required. This works well as an arrival spread for the first evening, when everyone is tired from travelling and nobody wants a formal meal.
How does holiday home catering work?
The cottages we cater at vary enormously — a converted barn near the Lizard is different from a Victorian terrace in Falmouth or a farmhouse outside St Ives. We visit the property in advance if needed, or ask the right questions over the phone.
We know Cornwall's roads. We know which lanes require a van with a wing mirror that folds in. We know which coastal properties need deliveries made before 10am before the tractor comes through. This is not the first summer we have done this.
Dietary requirements in a mixed group are manageable. Let us know in advance — we will accommodate them in the menu design rather than as an afterthought.
Booking
The further in advance you book, the better. Summer weekends in Cornwall book up quickly, and a Saturday evening delivery to a Lizard peninsula cottage in August needs to be planned.
That said, we do take short-notice bookings when we can. If you are already in the county and have realised that tonight needs to be something special, call 01209 206255 and we will see what we can do.
We cover all of Cornwall and can reach most holiday locations in the county.
