Yes. Salt Wind Catering travels across Devon from our kitchen in Redruth — we're regularly on site in Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay, Barnstaple, Tavistock, and throughout South and North Devon. Our Devon work is primarily on-site cook events: hog roasts, charcoal BBQs, giant pan paella, corporate days, and film/TV catering.
Travel is free on events over £1,500 (food and service combined) — most hog roasts, BBQs, and corporate days for 50 or more guests comfortably clear that line. Below £1,500 we charge £1 per mile return from our Redruth kitchen. Typical figures: Plymouth approximately £120, Exeter approximately £180, far or North Devon approximately £240–£300. The exact amount is always confirmed in writing before you commit.
Give us 48 hours for delivered buffets (Plymouth and South Devon only). For live BBQs or giant pans, 5 days is best. Hog roasts and large events need about 7 days' notice. Corporate and film/TV bookings — 2 to 4 weeks is ideal. If you're in a hurry, call us and we'll see what we can do.
We cover Devon including Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Paignton, Barnstaple, Tavistock, Newton Abbot, Totnes, Dartmouth, Tiverton, Okehampton, Crediton, Honiton, Sidmouth, Exmouth, Bideford, Ilfracombe, Kingsbridge, Dawlish and everywhere in between.
For on-site cook events (hog roast, BBQ, giant pan paella) the minimum is 50 guests. Delivered buffets are available from 20 guests to Plymouth (PL postcodes) and South Devon. Corporate and welfare catering has no minimum — call us to discuss.
Our Devon events are led by on-site cook formats — hog roast, charcoal BBQ, and giant pan paella — as well as corporate lunches, welfare catering, and film/TV unit catering. We are fully self-sufficient: we bring our own cooking kit, gazebo, and equipment and pack down our own equipment when we're done. You don't need to provide a kitchen or power supply.
