Salt Wind Catering offers fully vegan and plant-based catering across Cornwall and Devon from £6.75 per person. Choose delivered vegan buffets (minimum 20 guests, 48 hours notice), live-cooked giant pan dishes (minimum 50 guests on-site), or our dedicated Garden Grill charcoal BBQ cooked on a separate grill from £16.50pp. Every dish is clearly labelled, freshly made with seasonal Cornish produce, and prepared in a 5-star hygiene rated kitchen. Allergen information is available on request.

Plant-based food worth eating

Vegan catering should not feel like an apology. Too many caterers in Cornwall still treat plant-based guests as an afterthought — a lone bean burger pushed into a corner of the buffet, a couple of grilled peppers thrown onto the grill at the last minute. Salt Wind Catering does not work that way. Vegan options are built into every service we run, designed by the same kitchen team, cooked with the same care, and plated with the same attention to detail as everything else on the menu.

Whether you're planning a fully vegan event, accommodating a mix of dietary preferences, or running a corporate lunch where half the table is plant-based, the food has to stand on its own. Our menus draw on seasonal Cornish produce — Roseland Peninsula salad leaves, Tregassow Farm vegetables, Cornish new potatoes, sourdough from a Truro bakery — turned into proper dishes guests actually want to eat. Roasted stuffed peppers with herbed couscous. Smoky chickpea tagine. Charcoal-grilled halloumi and Mediterranean vegetable skewers. Hummus, baba ganoush and warm flatbreads. Wood-fired flatbread paella with saffron, peppers, artichokes and butterbeans.

Every vegan item is clearly labelled with dietary tags (V for vegetarian, VG for vegan, GF for gluten-free) so guests can help themselves with confidence. For dedicated vegan events we set up separate prep areas and use dedicated utensils to eliminate cross-contamination risk. Allergen information is available on request — a single notice covers our FIR 2014 obligations as a loose-food caterer, and we will brief the team on any severe allergies you flag at quote stage.

Our Garden Grill is a dedicated vegetarian and vegan BBQ menu (from £16.50pp delivered). Vegan items include spicy bean burgers, roasted stuffed peppers, chargrilled corn on the cob, Mediterranean vegetable skewers, hummus & crudités, mixed leaf salad and fresh rolls. It is cooked on a separate grill to avoid cross-contamination.

Vegan buffet options start from £6.75 per person. Giant pan vegan dishes start from £10.95 per person. Our dedicated Garden Grill vegan BBQ starts from £16.50 per person delivered. All prices include disposable plates, cutlery and napkins.
