'Heart Waves / Herzwellen', a German-language television film in the long-running Rosamunde Pilcher series, produced by FFP New Media for ZDF and filmed on location across Cornwall over 21 shoot days in June and July 2026. A Salt Wind Catering team was on set throughout, moving with the unit between locations all over the county, hot breakfasts, lunch and all-day craft services for the daily crew and cast, with dietary requirements managed end-to-end.

How The Day Ran
The dietary picture was collated by the production and run end to end from our side. Of 31 regular daily crew, three vegetarian and one vegan; among cast, three vegetarian and one vegan again, plus no pork, a gluten-free vegetarian who also avoids sugar and dairy, low carb, nuts, seafood, and fructose and lactose. One cast member carried a life-threatening sesame allergy, and we held the eleven dates they were on set so the line could be built around it.

Snack bar out: fruit, vegetables, bars, sandwiches and assorted snacks.

Hot lunch with a dessert course, served at the base or carried to unit.

Soft drinks, tea and filter coffee standing from arrival, with cow and oat milk.
Fed every service: Up to 60 cast & crew daily.

What We Served
Five weeks of shooting on a five-day week, so the menu rolled rather than repeated. The production supplied its own mineral water and recyclable packaging; everything else on this list came off our line.
