For properties on the cliffs above the village — Talland, Lansallos, Lanteglos — vehicle access is fine and the catering is straightforward.
Getting to Polperro — The Access Challenge
Polperro is the access challenge of south-east Cornwall. The village centre is closed to vehicles. Visitors and caterers alike use the main car park at the top of the village. For events in the village itself, our team walks the food down from the kit vehicle — which means we plan the menu for what travels well and what can be served without an on-site cooking station. For events outside the village — Talland, Lansallos, the clifftops — vehicle access is normal and the catering setup is unrestricted. We always confirm access at booking and plan the menu around what the venue allows. The A387 down from Trerulefoot is winding but fine outside of August Saturday traffic.
