Casual Catering Crew

Friendly, flexible catering crew to join us at events across the South West — weddings, festivals, film sets, parties and funeral teas.

What the work involves

On the food station — Keeping it stocked and tidy as guests help themselves.
Cooking — Live cooking, hog roast, BBQ and giant pans.
General catering — Prep, set-up, service and pack-down.

What we ask

Must be 18 or over — late finishes and licensed events
Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Willing to travel, with the occasional night away

Helpful, but not essential

Variable shifts by event. Weekend availability is essential, and events can finish late.

Pay

Pay depends on your experience, your age and the role you take on. We will talk it through with you before your first shift, so you know exactly what you are earning before you commit to anything.

Salt Wind Catering is a family-run catering business based in Redruth, working across Cornwall and Devon. We cater weddings, festivals, film and TV shoots, parties, corporate events and funeral teas — so no two days look quite the same, and the work is genuinely varied.

We hold a 5-star food hygiene rating and are members of NCASS and the FSB. You will be trained on the kit you use, and you will never be sent to do something you have not been shown how to do.
