Salt Wind Catering provides film and TV catering on set — hot meals for cast and crew across Cornwall, Devon and the South West, from a Redruth base. We are currently feeding FFP New Media’s Heart Waves / Herzwellen production for ZDF German television.
For productions needing facilities as well as food, we work alongside JW Film Facilities — honey wagons, green rooms, makeup and costume, power and transport — so catering and full unit-base facilities come from local Cornwall teams.

Is your crew caterer genuinely sustainable?
Productions reporting against BAFTA albert need real numbers, not greenwash. Salt Wind Catering is an albert-aligned supplier: our kitchen is all-electric, run from an air-source heat pump, with no gas in the building. Food is made to order to cut waste, and packaging is compostable.
The supply chain is named and Cornish — bread from Prima Bakeries, meat from RJ Trevarthen, dairy and fish from Westcountry Food, and produce from Continental Fruit & Veg. Short local supply runs keep food miles and carbon down — the kind of detail a production sustainability coordinator can actually put in a report.
