Q: How do I place an order?

Call 01209 206255, email info@saltwind.catering, or use the quote form on our website. For standard catering, at least 48 hours notice is ideal. For large events, weddings and hog roasts, 5–7 days or more.

Q: What areas do you deliver to?

All of Cornwall and Devon — from Bude and the Lizard to Plymouth and Exeter.

Q: Is there a minimum order?

Buffets: 20 guests minimum. Corporate catering: no minimum. BBQ and hog roast: 20 (delivered) or 50 (on-site). Giant pan: 50 guests. Holiday home delivery: £30 minimum. Get in touch and we'll work out what fits.

Q: How far in advance should I book?

At least 48 hours for standard orders. 5–7 days or more for large events, weddings and hog roasts. Summer weekends book up fast — the earlier the better.

Q: Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and pork-free options are available. Please note: our kitchen handles nuts and gluten daily. For severe nut or peanut allergies, or coeliac disease, we cannot guarantee a completely trace-free environment — please tell us at enquiry stage so we can advise honestly and ensure you have appropriate medication on hand.

Q: Are you registered and insured?

5-star food hygiene rating, NCASS registered, FSB member, £10 million public liability insurance.

Q: What don't you offer?

To save you time: we do not offer halal-certified catering, a licensed bar or alcohol service, tableware or crockery hire, or front-of-house waiting staff. We're a cook team — we prepare and serve the food (hot and soft drinks can be included as part of your catering). Alcohol, tables, linen and service staff are arranged separately by the client.
