The Bottle Yard Studios and its TBY2 expansion are the largest dedicated film and TV production space in the West of England, with eleven-plus stages and productions from Poldark to Doctor Who spin-offs and Young Sherlock. Salt Wind Catering provides crew catering for productions based there — stage-door and on their Bristol location days — with a fully self-contained mobile kitchen.
Bristol filming spend topped £46m in 2024–25 across dozens of major productions. We travel from our Cornwall base and build travel — and, for multi-week studio blocks, crew accommodation — into the quote up front. For the wider area see our Bristol & Bath film catering page.

How we cater a studio base
We are based in Cornwall and unit catering is a travel-to-set business — the mobile kitchen goes where the production is. For a studio block we set up at the allocated unit base or catering bus position and feed the crew across the shoot day, from the early call-time breakfast to any wrap or overtime meal.
Travel from Cornwall — and, for multi-week studio blocks, crew accommodation — is calculated up front from the studio postcode and confirmed in writing in your quote, with no surprises on invoice. Menus, the dietary matrix and allergen labelling are shared with the production accountant in advance.
